How to manage the languages used in your Career Center

We define three different types of Language which you can edit on the Career Center:

  • The language of the Career Center (only one)
    • Language in which the Career Center structure is displayed (module names, field names, etc.)

This language is set by default from your dashboard, by clicking on "Edit my Criteria".

You can also edit this display language, without making it the default language, by directly editing the URL or by clicking on the languages at the very bottom of the page, on the right-hand side.

  • Content languages (one or more)
    • Languages in which you agree to view various content:
      • Job ads
      • Events
      • Companies
      • News
      • Articles

This language is set by default from your dashboard, by clicking on "Edit my Criteria".

This choice is important because it restricts the amount of content to which you access (e.g. if an article in the Resources module was created only in English and you only authorised French content, you will not be able to view this article).

  • Spoken Languages (optional)
    • Languages which characterise your profile as a candidate and which will directly impact your university's Talent Bank.

These languages can be configured directly from your dashboard, by clicking on "Edit my profile".
