📩 How to reply to recruiters’ messages?
When a recruiter contacts you on JobTeaser, you receive a notification. A badge appears in your navigation bar to let you know that you have a new message.
To read and reply:
- Go to the Messages section, where all your conversations with recruiters are grouped together.
- Open the conversation to read the recruiter’s message.
- Type your reply directly in the conversation. There is no need to use your email address.
Conversations may have started from different areas of JobTeaser, including TalentMatch. You can then find them and reply to them from Messages.
From this section, you can also:
- Search for a conversation.
- Send attachments.
- See when a recruiter sends you a message.
- Check whether your message has been read.
No messages are lost: conversations that started before the new messaging system launched remain fully accessible.

🚩 Report the message to the JobTeaser support team if you feel uncomfortable
🚫 Block the recruiter if you do not wish to receive further messages
📊 What happens after a recruiter contacts you?
Once a recruiter has reached out, your profile may move through different stages in their recruitment pipeline:
- Viewed - the recruiter has looked at your profile
- To Contact - you have been selected for outreach
- Contacted - the recruiter has sent you a message (you may also see unread message count here)
- Rejected - you have not been selected at this stage
- Recruited - you have been selected 🎉✨ Keep your profile updated, stay open to opportunities, and let recruiters come to you! 🎓💼
The objective of this improvement is to help recruiters better monitor and manage their sourcing activities by offering clearer tracking of candidates at each stage of the recruitment process.
